I photograph my country,
like keeping track of an inner beat.
BIOGRAPHIE
I am a Haitian photographer and filmmaker based in Jacmel. My work is deeply rooted in documenting Haitian life its beauty, its resilience, and its everyday intimacy. I use both photography and film to tell stories of women, rural communities, and the subtle moments that often go unseen.
I graduated from Ciné Institute, Haiti’s only film school. My background includes several years of experience with CORE (formerly JP/HRO), where I directed and edited short documentaries in post-earthquake displacement camps.
In 2016, I deepened my documentary practice at the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles through an international training workshop.
Since 2013, I’ve worked as a photo and video consultant with the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), documenting the work of grassroots organizations across the country.
As a co-founder of KREYE, a collective of Haitian women filmmakers, I’ve chosen to stay and tell our stories from within. Through KREYE, I also lead social and educational initiatives that foster dialogue and empowerment through the arts. The collective serves as both a creative and activist space, where cinema becomes a tool of resistance, transmission, and healing.
My practice continues to evolve at the intersection of visual storytelling and social impact, with a strong commitment to telling Haiti’s stories from within.
